After legendary fashion photographer Herb Ritts test shot the New Orleans Native as a model at age 17, his illustrious career in the entertainment industry began. As a on camera performer, he has appeared in over 50 national commercials, as well as, numerous Print, Music Videos and TV shows working with the ‘who’s who’ of Hollywood’s A-List which includes: Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Tina Turner, Jay-Z, Levi’s, Luomo Vogue, Banana Republic, Pepsi, Mary J. Blige. In his first year of working in the industry in front of the camera, MTV News interviewed him to find out why he was on tV so often. MTV News WAS Quoted as saying “Wilberto is receiving more airplay on MTV than Nirvana! . Wilberto studied acting/drama at The Sanford Meisner Academy. He received a performing arts scholarship at Hollywood Musical Legend Debbie Reynold’s prestigious performing arts studio (where he studied drama, singing, and dance). he also holds degrees in Business Marketing/Advertising, Film, and Theater/Dance.
