**Early History**
Wilberto’s path was illuminated early on, when legendary fashion photographer Herb Ritts test-shot him as a model at 17, marking the start of his illustrious journey in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he has appeared in over 100 national commercials, print campaigns, music videos, and TV shows, working with Hollywood’s elite, including Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Tina Turner, and Jay-Z, to name a few. He’s been featured in high-profile campaigns for Levi’s, L’Uomo Vogue, Banana Republic, Pepsi, and more.
MTV News once noted that “Wilberto is receiving more airplay on MTV than Nirvana!” His talent spans producing, directing, creative direction, and choreographing, having studied at the prestigious Sanford Meisner Academy and receiving a performing arts scholarship at Debbie Reynolds’ performing arts studio. After legendary fashion photographer Herb Ritts test shot the New Orleans Native as a model at age 17, his illustrious career in the entertainment industry began. As a on camera performer, he has appeared in over 50 national commercials, as well as, numerous Print, Magazines, Music Videos and TV spots working with the ‘who’s who’ of Hollywood’s A-List which includes: Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Tina Turner, Jay-Z, Levi’s, Luomo Vogue, Banana Republic, Pepsi, P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige. In his first year of working in the industry in front of the camera, MTV Networks interviewed him to find out why he was on television so often. MTV News commented “Wilberto is receiving more airplay on MTV than Nirvana! . Wilberto studied acting/drama at The Sanford Meisner Academy. He received a performing arts scholarship at Hollywood Musical Legend Debbie Reynold’s prestigious performing arts studio(where he studied drama, singing, and dance. Wilberto also holds bachelor degrees in Business Marketing/Advertising, Film, and Theater/Dance.
